RESPECT THE SIGN.

This sticker represents Pueblo Sovereignty and it should be taken seriously. This is my illustration of a sign that sits at the entrance of our villages and has been around since I was little and years before then.

I altered the signage a bit to respect the original purpose. These signs have not only contributed to protecting our ways of life, but have contributed to the protection of our People from Covid-19. These signs are intentionally put in place to protect those who grow, steward and care for the land, non-human relatives and People. These signs also speak to the respect of Territories as our Ancestors respected territories before European settlers violently intruded. These signs are put in place to keep both the settler virus and the corona virus out of our communities. Indigenous Sovereignty must be respected.
